PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image having a slice thickness two or three times as thick as a size in the Z-axis of a detector, based on raw data collected by axial scan or helical scan using a multi-detector. SOLUTION: One set of projection data (Dg) is acquired by multiplying cone beam reconstruction weight (Wi) and Z filter weight (wi) by raw data (d1-d6) of three or more neighboring detector arrays collected using a multi-detector (24) with three or more arrays and adding. A reverse projection process is applied on the projection data (Dg) to acquire pixel data. Thereby, an image having a slice thickness two or three times as thick as a size in the Z-axis of a detector, can be acquired based on raw data collected by axial scan or helical scan using a multi-detector. An image having arbitrary slice thickness 1.2 or 1.5 times as thick as a size in the Z-axis direction of the detector can also be acquired. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
