<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for the production of arachidonic acid containing oils, which preferably are substantially free of eicosapentaenoic acid, and a composition containing a triglyceride-type arachidonic acid in high concentration. <P>SOLUTION: Mortierella alpina of filamentous fungus is cultivated, and the biomass is harvested.
