Provided are a high-penetration-rate VA type liquid crystal display panel and a method for manufacturing same. A lower substrate (1) of the high-penetration-rate VA type liquid crystal display panel comprises a first concave-convex layer (12), an upper substrate (2) comprises a second concave-convex layer (22); the first concave-convex layer (12) comprises a first raised portion (121) and a first recessed portion (122) which are arranged at intervals; a pixel electrode (13), with a uniform thickness, continuously covers the first raised portion (121) and the first recessed portion (122); the second concave-convex layer (22) and the first concave-convex layer (12) are structurally complementary, the second concave-convex layer (22) comprises a second raised portion (221) and a second recessed portion (222) which are arranged at intervals; a common electrode (23), with a uniform thickness, continuously covers the second raised portion (221) and the second recessed portion (222); the second raised portion (221) is corresponding to the first recessed portion (122), and the second recessed portion (222) is corresponding to the first raised portion (121). |
