PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing plate for a cylindrical battery that stably performs an inner pressure releasing operation in connection with increase of the inner pressure of the cylindrical battery.SOLUTION: In a sealing plate 30 for sealing an opening portion of a battery can 10 of a cylindrical battery which includes the cylindrical battery can 10 having a bottom, a power generation element 20 disposed inside the battery can, and an electrode terminal electrically-connected to the power generation element 20, the sealing plate 30 is configured in a flat-plate shape to have an outer peripheral portion connected to an inner circumferential portion of the battery can 10 under a sealed state, and an inner peripheral portion for sealing the peripheral edge portion of the electrode terminal, and between the outer peripheral portion and the inner peripheral portion of the sealing plate 30, a thin portion 32 as a belt-like area which is formed to be thinner than the other portions of the sealing plate 30 is formed with a predetermined width along the peripheral direction of the sealing plate 30, and a portion of the sealing plate 30 which is located on the inner peripheral side of the thin portion 32 is displaced to be nearer to the bottom of the battery can 10 than the outer peripheral side of the thin portion 32 of the sealing plate 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
