PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope insertion aid effectively securing a space in a body cavity when inserting an endoscope or the like using overtubes or the like. SOLUTION: This endoscope insertion aid is provided with an inside overtube 1B for inserting the endoscope 20 therein and capable of assuming a shape-variable first state and a shape-fixed second state; and an outside overtube 1A for inserting the inside over tube 1B in the inside and capable of assuming the first state and the second state.
