<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium containing a magnetic material while suppressing the falling off of the magnetic material in image-forming process. <P>SOLUTION: The recording medium includes a magnetic material and pulp fibers oriented relative to the plane direction of the recording medium, and the minimum value of the shortest distance between the magnetic material and an end of a side parallel to the orientation direction of the pulp fiber is≥1 mm.
