DRAWING APPARATUS FOR DECREASING WIRE CROSS SECTION AND ITS METHOD

PURPOSE: A drawing apparatus for decreasing the diameter of a wire and a method for decreasing diameter of wire using the same are provided to increase the length of a wire rod and reduce the diameter of a thin wire by applying uniform temperature, stress, and deformation rate. CONSTITUTION: A drawing apparatus for decreasing the diameter of a wire comprise following elements. An anode electrode simultaneously fixes one end of the wire rod to be extended and connects to the one end. A cathode electrode fixes the other end of the wire rod and electrically connects to the other end of the wire rod. A transfer unit mechanically connects to the anode electrode and the cathode electrode and transfers one or more anode electrodes and cathode electrodes in the longitudinal direction of the wire. One of the anode electrode and the cathode electrode is installed on a fixed base(11) and the other one is installed on a slide plate(3).
