PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminate which keeps various performances of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery and furthermore prevents an internal short circuit due to breakage of the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery or the like so that high safety can be ensured.SOLUTION: A laminate (10) is obtained by laminating a fine particle-containing porous layer on at least one surface of a polyolefin-based porous film. When a needlestick continuity test, which is stipulated in JIS A 5508, is performed on the laminate by using a needle (2) of N50 on such a condition that a dropping speed of the needle (2) is 50 μm/minute, a difference between the test force when electrical continuity is performed on the laminate (10) and that when an insulation breakdown occurs is within 5-50 N.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
