PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practically very much favorable binder utilizing the characteristic of the binder for recording sheet, which contains cationic acryl emulsion, that the binder is high in the density of printing, clear, prominent in resolution, good in image storage probability since the same is prominent in water resistant property especially and, further, reduced in the drop of adsorbing agent such as silica and the like. SOLUTION: The binder for recording sheet is characterized by containing copolymerized cationic acrylic emulsion, having the glass transition temperature of -40 to 80 deg.C and the grain size of 50-300 nm, which is obtained by the emulsion polymerization of a monomer mixture selected from the group consisting of (metha) acrylic ester excluding (metha) acrylic monomer containing amino group employing alkyl benzil ammonium chloride and/or EO addition type alkyl ammonium chloride having the EO addition number of moles of 2-15 mol. |
