PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently perform heat radiation of a wavelength conversion layer containing a phosphor and to prevent light that is emitted from an LED, from becoming directly visible from the outside.SOLUTION: A light-emitting device 1 comprises: a heat dissipation substrate 2; a wavelength conversion layer 3 that is provided in the heat dissipation substrate 2; and a frame member 4 on which an LED 5 is mounted in such a manner that a light-emission plane 5a is positioned at an obliquely upper side relative to a surface 3a of the wavelength conversion layer, and which is disposed in the heat dissipation substrate and made of a member different from that of the heat dissipation substrate. In an upper end of the frame member, an eaves part 8 is provided for preventing light that is emitted from the light emission plane of the LED from becoming directly visible from the outside. Inside of the frame member and inside of the eaves part, light reflection planes 7b, 8c and 8d are formed, respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
