PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the number of thawing objects which can be stored in a thawing chamber while reducing falling of water generated by thawing onto a thawing object within a lower tray or a floor. SOLUTION: This thawing machine comprises a thawing chamber 6 for thawing a thawing object, a plurality of trays 26 stored in the thawing chamber 6 with thawing objects placed thereon, and a shelf receiving structure 27 supporting each tray 26 within the thawing chamber 6. Each tray 26 is supported in an inclined attitude in which its rear side is lowered by the shelf receiving structure 27, and each tray 26 has a plurality of draining ports 43 formed at the rear end.
