PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feed roller of which the drum is not deteriorated for a long period, even though the feed roller is used for electrolyzing a metal plate in dilute nitric acid. SOLUTION: The feed roller which is used for sending the continuous metal strip to be electrolyzed in an oxidizing acid solution toward a given direction has an approximately cylindrical core metal, and an elastic layer which coats the above core metal, and of which at least the surface layer is formed of a fluorine polymer consisting of substantially only fluorine atoms and carbon atoms. The electrolysis device has the above feed roller. The electrolytic roughening method comprises using the above electrolysis device. |
