PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately manage the arrangement states of articles in respective arrangement areas within the existing management object area in which a plurality of arrangement areas for arranging articles are in a line.SOLUTION: Shelf boards 4 to 8 of an article shelf 2 are provided with planar antennas 14 to 18 for acquiring an ID from an RFID tag 20 of an article 12. The radiation direction of radio waves of all of the respective planar antennas 14 to 18 are set to be directed upward, and the ID is acquired from the RFID tag 20 by transmitting call signals sequentially from the upper planar antenna 18. Articles 12 mounted on the respective shelf boards 4 to 8 are specified by preferentially using an ID that was successfully acquired by an upper antenna, and arrangement states (number and kind) of the articles 12 of the article shelf 2 are managed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
