PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gateway unit capable of autonomously controlling an invalid connection request by quickly grasping contents of the invalid connection request.SOLUTION: A gateway unit 10 includes: an authentication error factor estimation section 15 for estimating an authentication error transmission source server on the basis of a response time to authentication error reception against a connection request by performing in advance a connection request that generates an authentication error; and a connection request control section 13 for controlling a reconnection request in accordance with an estimation result of the authentication error factor estimation section 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
