PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulsed gas laser oscillator 1 capable of providing a high-output laser while repressing the production cost to a low price. SOLUTION: The pulsed gas laser oscillator 1 includes a first charging circuit 101 and a second charging circuit 102 which apply a high voltage to a main discharge electrode 2. The first charging circuit 101 is a positive voltage circuit made of the same component members as conventionally known ones. The second charging circuit 102, on the other hand, is provided with the same component members as the first charging circuit 101 has while arranged symmetrically to the first charging circuit 101 to constitute a negative voltage circuit so that a negative voltage can be applied to the main discharge electrode 2 from the second charging circuit 102. The first charging circuit 101 and the second charging circuit 102 have reverse polarities with respect to each other, from which voltages are applied at the same time to the main discharge electrode 2 to excite the laser gas.
