PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging device which can charge an apparatus appropriately in accordance with user's will or usage. SOLUTION: When a plurality of apparatuses to be charged are charged at once, wireless communication is made with an apparatus to be charged which is mounted on a charging stage, and charging set up information is acquired from each apparatus to be charged. A preferential apparatus is then detected based on the charging set up information thus acquired. When a preferential apparatus is detected, it is charged preferentially. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
