PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus having a reduced peak power. SOLUTION: An imaging part 101 has an output part which outputs an image signal at intervals of a first horizontal blanking period shorter than a prescribed horizontal blanking period prescribed by a processing part in a succeeding stage, within a block being the prescribed number of lines N constituting an image, and is capable of outputting an image signal at intervals of a second horizontal blanking period, between blocks. An image processing part 102 has a memory control part which performs such a control that the image signal output from the output part is stored into a memory and the image signal stored in the memory and corresponding to the plurality of lines is read and output to the processing part in the succeeding stage in a second horizontal blanking period.
