摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measurement method employing a non-prism total station that enables a preset measuring point to be automatically measured, and a step calculation device.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to the measurement method employing the total station and the step calculation device for measuring a height difference between a recess plane 3 and a projection plane 4 that are formed on a surface of a wall board 2. The measurement method includes the steps of: measuring three or more measuring points on the recess plane 3; measuring three or more measuring points on the projection plane 4; calculating a three-dimensional plane equation of the recess plane 3 from the three or more measuring points on the recess plane 3; calculating a three-dimensional plane equation of the projection plane 4 from the three or more measuring points on the projection plane 4; and calculating a distance between the recess plane 3 and the projection plane 4 using the three-dimensional plane equation of the recess plane 3 and the three-dimensional plane equation of the projection plane 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
