PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electricity storage element having sufficient output and including an active material layer having sufficient peel strength.SOLUTION: An electricity storage element includes a negative electrode 12 including: a metal foil 121 of the negative electrode which serves as a negative electrode base material; and a negative electrode active material layer 122 which is overlapped to the metal foil 121 of the negative electrode. The negative electrode active material layer 122 contains a binder and particle-like non-graphitizable carbon. The average particle diameter D50 of the non-graphitizable carbon is 6 μm or less. The ratio of the binder in the negative electrode active material layer 122 is 4-7 mass%. In the negative electrode 12, the peel strength between the negative electrode base material (metal foil 121) and the negative electrode active material layer 122 is usually 50-1,000 gf, and preferably 300 gf or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
