PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy of detecting a pointing element.SOLUTION: An interactive projector includes: a projection unit for projecting a projected screen on a screen surface; an imaging unit for imaging a region of the projected screen through an imaging lens; a correction image creating unit for creating a corrected image by subjecting a captured image including a pointing element captured by the imaging unit to a process of correcting distortion caused by an imaging direction of the imaging unit and distortion caused by the imaging lens; and a pointing element detection unit for implementing a detection process of detecting the pointing element on the corrected image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
