PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a converter capable of dealing with input/output voltages and input/output currents over wide ranges under simple circuit configuration or control.SOLUTION: The converter is characterized in that a control circuit calculates an error amplification signal corresponding to a control target detection value and a reference value and when the error amplification signal crosses a first triangular wave shaped signal, pulse width modulation is performed on a drive signal of one switch element to be paired correspondingly to a time point when the error amplification signal crosses the first triangular wave shaped signal. When the error amplification signal crosses a second triangular wave shaped signal, pulse width modulation is performed on a drive signal of another switch element to be paired correspondingly to a time point when the error amplification signal crosses the second triangular wave shaped signal. When the error amplification signal crosses a third triangular wave shaped signal, pulse width modulation is performed on a drive signal for a switch element of a second circuit correspondingly to a time point when the error amplification signal crosses the third triangular wave shaped signal. |
