PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a file for a saw chain capable of further easily and simultaneously dressing an upper blade and a lateral blade of the saw chain, without requiring skill.SOLUTION: A file 10 for a saw chain capable of simultaneously dressing an upper blade 30 and a lateral blade 31 of the saw chain 21, comprises a long size flat file part 12 and a substantially semicircular round file part 14 provided on both side surfaces in the longitudinal direction of the flat file part 12. In the file 10 for the saw chain, a diameter D of the round file part 14 is set to 3.5-9 mm, and a width W of the flat file part 12 is desirably set to 3-20 mm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
