PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of injection molding a light guide plate which can produce, by high speed injection, a thin-gage light guide plate for a large screen which is free of warpage and deformation and on which fine unevenness patterns formed on the mold surface are transferred in a good state. SOLUTION: In injection molding a light guide plate having a thickness of≤1 mm and a diagonal dimension of≥8 inches, a mold clamping machine and an injection cylinder that satisfy the following conditions are used: F/D≥78 (with the proviso of 1,500<F≤4,000) and F/D≥100 (with the proviso of 4,000<F≤10,000) wherein F (kN) denotes the maximum mold clamping force of the mold clamping machine and D (mm) denotes the inside diameter of the injection cylinder.
