PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermetic compressor provided with high reliability by preventing a large amount of liquid from flowing-in into a compression chamber. SOLUTION: Guides 114 extended from a suction pipe 107 and a suction port 113 and having a part formed by a flexible material are made opposed to each other. Thereby, since the liquid coolant and a large amount of oil 102 flowing-in from the suction pipe 107 can be suppressed from flowing-in into the compression chamber 108, the hermetic compressor provided with high efficiency and high reliability can be provided.
