Reproduction of file series

摘要

Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for managing a series of files. A series of files may be grouped and a reproduction progress of a most recently reproduced file may be tracked. The next serial file in the series is reproduced, when the reproduction progress of the most recently reproduced file satisfies a threshold.

grouping a series of files in which the series of files are reproduced in a sequential order; tracking a reproduction progress of a most recently reproduced file, wherein the reproduction progress of the most recently reproduced file is incomplete and the most recently reproduced file is in a non-play state; identifying a next serial file from the series of files to be reproduced in accordance with the sequential order, when the reproduction progress of the most recently reproduced file exceeds a preset threshold and designating the next serial file as a new most recently reproduced file; and storing metadata associated with the next serial file, when the next serial file is identified.
