PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing through reusing vegetable residue such as waste bean sprout, a mushroom cultivation medium material which brings less reproduction of mold and various germs, has excellent long period preservability, and sustains necessary nutriments as medium component. SOLUTION: This method for producing the mushroom cultivation medium material comprises at least a crushing process S2 of crushing vegetable residue and a drying process S2 of drying the crushed vegetable residue to water content of≤20 wt.% at temperature which does not exceed 80°C. As for the vegetable residue, preferably waste sprout bean is applied. The dry process S2 is performed by heat drying or freeze drying. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
