<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an excessive inrush current when linking an asynchronous induction generator to a power system. <P>SOLUTION: When inverters 3a, 3b are provided in parallel with a circuit breaker 4 connected between the power system 1 and the induction generator 2, so as to link the induction generator 2 to the power system 1; the induction generator is linked to the power system 1 after allowing a current, making voltage in the induction generator coincident with a power-system voltage, to flow from the inverter 3a to the induction generator 2 while rotating the induction generator 2 at near rated speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
