PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide polyimide fine particles having a metallic coating. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the polyimide fine particles having a metallic coating is provided, which, in the method of forming the metallic coatings on the polyimide fine particles, comprises (a) a first process of preparing each a first solution containing tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride and a second solution containing a diamine compound, (b) a second process of mixing the first and second solutions under agitation by ultrasonic irradiation and precipitating polyamic acid fine particles from the mixed solution, (c) a third process of imidizing the polyamic acid fine particles to obtain the polyimide fine particles, and (d) a fourth process of heating the polyimide fine particles in an organic solvent containing a metal salt and a polyol to form the metallic coatings.
