摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication system in which a channel of small interference amount can be selected, by performing interference power correction depending on the traffic at a peripheral access point, in IACS-DCA using the beacon reception power measurement value, and performing channel selection depending on the interference power subjected to correction.SOLUTION: A wireless communication system having an access point using channel segregation based on interference power measurement includes beacon reception means for receiving a beacon containing information of communication traffic transmitted from a peripheral access point, measurement means for measuring the reception power of the beacon thus received, instantaneous correction interference power calculation means for calculating instantaneous correction interference power, on the basis of information of the reception power of the beacon thus measured and the communication traffic, and average interference power calculation means for calculating the average interference power by using the instantaneous correction interference power. Channel selection is performed based on the average interference power thus calculated.
