<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyurea-thickened grease comprising an oil soluble zinc salt of a carboxylic acid. <P>SOLUTION: The grease composition comprises the following (A), (B) and (C). (A) is a major amount of an oil of a lubricating viscosity. (B) is a thickener selected from the group consisting of a monourea, a diurea, a triurea and a polyurea, or a mixture thereof. (C) is an oil soluble neutral or overbased zinc salt of a carboxylic acid selected from the group consisting of zinc salts of fatty acids, the zinc salts of hydrocarbyl-substituted salicylic acids, and zinc glyoxylates, provided that if (C) is a zinc salt of a fatty acid, the fatty acid is not ricinoleic acid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
