PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber convergence member that can compactly put together a plurality of optical fibers, and also to provide an optical fiber assembly. SOLUTION: The optical fiber convergence member is characterized in that it is provided with a plurality of grooves suitable for the shape of optical fibers and that it is an elastic member freely attachable to and detachable from the optical fibers.
