PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mainly achieve improvement of the technology of an X-ray generator, and to particularly achieve improvement of cooling of the device, easy detection of undesirable arc discharge between an anode and a cathode elements, and improvement of connection of an X-ray tube to an electrical connector for supplying electric power to the apparatus. SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises a housing, a first terminal equipped with an anode in it, a second terminal equipped with a cathode in it, an X-ray tube adapted to emit X-ray during operation of the X-ray generator, and a socket components placed in the housing. The socket component includes a first component and a second component. One of the first component and the second component or both specifies openings in them.
