PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer recording material made of a combination of a thermal transfer sheet and a thermal transfer image receiving sheet, the thermal transfer recording material capable of preventing a defective thermally transferred image due to wrinkles in a thermal transfer sheet at thermal transfer.SOLUTION: A thermal transfer image receiving sheet includes a substrate sheet, a porous layer and a reception layer sequentially laminated. The basis weight of the substrate sheet is 190-205 g/m. The total thickness of the substrate sheet and the porous layer is 190-240 μm. A thermostable lubricant layer of the thermal transfer sheet is formed of a binder resin including a hydroxy group-containing thermoplastic resin and a polyisocyanate. A molar equivalent ratio (-NCO/-OH) of a hydroxy group included in the hydroxy group-containing thermoplastic resin and an isocyanate group of the polyisocyanate is 0.01-3.0. |
