PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission ratio variable device allowing the excellent engagement of each of spline gears constituting a wave motion gear mechanism by eliminating an influence of vibration transmitted through a housing and the displacement of a shaft. SOLUTION: A wave motion generating unit 44 constituting the wave motion gear mechanism with each of the spline gears is coupled to a motor shaft 30 by spline-fitting in a coupling portion 44a thereof. A predetermined clearance D is formed in the spline-fitting part between the motor shaft 30 and the wave motion generating unit 44 (the coupling portion 44a). COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
