<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a valve-seat by which cracks or undeposited parts are not produced in the valve seat. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for forming a valve-seat, a fusion layer 21 is formed by fusing a base material by irradiating the valve seat part 2 with laser. While supplying metal powder 4 onto the fusion layer 21, the cylinder head 1 and laser are rotated relatively to each other so as to form a clad-layer 16 by weld overlay with laser radiation. A fusion-layer lap-part 22 is formed by overlapping the working-start part of the fusion layer 21 on the working-finishing part, and a clad-layer lap-part 23 is formed by overlapping the working-start part of the clad-layer 16 on the working-finishing part. In the method for forming a valve-seat, the fusion-layer lap-part 22 and the clad-layer lap-part 23 are formed in positions other than the parts where intake and exhaust valve-seats in one and the same cylinder approach to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
