A transmission manipulation unit for manual transmissions is provided to prevent the direct contact between a shift rail and a transmission case in order to reduce noise. A transmission manipulation unit for manual transmissions is composed of a transmission case(10), a shift rail(30) and a piston(40). The shift rail is installed within the transmission case. A shift fork is mounted on the outer surface of the shift rail. A piston receiving hole(50) is located on the one end of the shift rail. The piston is adopted in the piston receiving hole. A piston ring(42) is made of rubber. The piston ring is located on the end of the piston. A supporting member(41) is located on the outer surface of the piston to guide the shift rail. A vent hole(51) is positioned on the shift rail. The piston receiving hole communicates with the outside through the vent hole.
