摘要 The present invention relates to a surface velocity measuring method using an image processing and a portable measurement device in order to photograph an image of a river surface by using a camera included in a smartphone and photograph the surface velocity of river by using a built-in inclinometer and calculating a variable necessary for the coordinate conversion of the image. The surface velocity measuring method includes the following steps of: acquiring a river surface image by setting a variable and an image by using a smartphone having a portable surface image hydrometer; creating a spatiotemporal image by dividing the acquired river surface image according to frames; analyzing the image in a correlation analysis method (CASTI) at a time by dividing the whole spatiotemporal image into two parts, which are an even row and an odd row; and displaying a velocity of flow on a smartphone screen having the portable surface velocity hydrometer by calculating an image displacement by using the analysis result, and converting the calculated image displacement into a surface velocity.
