A reciprocating magnetic freezer is provided to improve heat exchange efficiency by allowing heat conduction fluid to be evenly supplied into total magnetic material, and to simultaneously prevent outflow of the heat conduction fluid and the magnetic material by using a mesh and plastic packing. A reciprocating magnetic freezer comprises AMR, a magnet, an AMR operating member, a low temperature heat exchange unit and a high temperature heat exchange unit. The AMR includes a first AMR(Active Magnetic Regenerator) bed(110A) and a second AMR bed having magnetic material passing through flow of heat conduction fluid. The AMR operating member reciprocates the first AMR bed and the second AMR bed to the magnet, and mutually applies or removes magnetic field. The low temperature heat exchange unit and the high temperature heat exchange unit are thermally coupled to the AMR. The low temperature heat exchange unit is disposed in a far inlet/outlet(110AL) of the first AMR bed and the far inlet/outlet of the second AMR bed.
