PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently attracting stored grain insect pests and simply capturing the stored grain insect pests and to provide an apparatus therefor. SOLUTION: (1) The method for capturing the stored grain insect pests is characterized as emitting light of a blue light-emitting diode or a white light-emitting diode, attracting the stored grain insect pests and capturing the stored grain insect pests. (2) The method for capturing the stored grain insect pests as described in claim 1 is characterized as capturing the stored grain insect pests with a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. (3) The apparatus for capturing the stored grain insect pests is equipped with the blue light-emitting diode or the white light-emitting diode and a power source apparatus. (4) A grain trier for capturing the stored grain insect pests is equipped with the blue light-emitting diode or the white light-emitting diode and the power source apparatus.
