PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of eliminating any defective stacking in a post-processing device and shortening the post-processing time when discharging paper sheets of different sizes to the post-processing device. SOLUTION: When it is detected that the size of a fed paper sheet is different from the designated paper sheet size, and if the size cannot be identified, the paper sheet conveying speed in the post-processing device is not changed from the conveying speed in a prestage of the post-processing device (a finisher 5). When the size can be identified and the size of the paper sheet fed from a paper feed means is agreed with the designated paper sheet size, the paper sheet conveying speed of the post-processing device is increased at the timing corresponding to the paper sheet size.
