PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an item-editing device, capable of easily performing item-editing operation by integrating item editing operations to reduce the operation procedures, and to provide an item-editing method therefor. SOLUTION: The editing method for editing an editing object item, in which designated areas are set in the upper side, lower side, left side, right side, and center point of each item and the inside thereof other than the central point as attribute information within a layout area, by an item changing method comprising steps of designating, at the time of editing the item, any one of the designated areas of the editing object item; designating an optional point within the layout area as a moving destination of the designated item; and selecting any one of an arch generating means, an item curving quantity changing means, an item width changing means, an item height changing means, and an item position changing means contained in the item changing means to edit the editing object item within the layout area.
