PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal management system in which different versions of one library are available in the same system, and the old version of program is available even after the version of a package, is updated, and to provide a terminal management system which increase backup efficiency. SOLUTION: A package management means 108 stores a package into a package storage directory 103 in different directories by form of the original version and difference between versions. An execution environment management means 106 uses a hierarchical structure directory management means 105 to configure the package of the target version by mounting the directory for storing the original version of the package and the difference between versions onto a mount point. The update file storage directory is further mounted onto the configured package, and an execution environment is configured.
