PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a composite material for an absorbent article which can combine a base material and a water absorbing material without using an adhesive agent, heating, or burying the water absorbing material into the substrate material.SOLUTION: In a predetermined solvent selected from a non-polar organic solvent, a polar organic solvent, and a mixed solvent of the polar organic solvent and water, a manufacturing method of a composite material for an absorbent article includes an absorbing step of bringing a base material whose surface is positively or negatively charged in the predetermined solvent into contact with a water absorbing material whose surface is charged with the opposite charge to the surface of the substrate material in the predetermined solvent to allow the base material to absorb the water absorbing material by an electrostatic interaction. The base material comprises a fiber base or a resin base, and a high polymer electrolyte layer provided on the surface layer, and/or the water absorbing material comprises an absorbent particle base or an absorbent fiber base, and a high polymer electrolyte layer provided on the surface layer. |
