PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic element particularly capable of improving coil characteristics of a Q-value and direct-current resistance without changing thickness of a coil, and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A magnetic element includes an insulating base material 11 and a coil formed on the surface of the insulating base material. Both width-directional side surfaces 21a and 21a of each coil turn 21 of the coil are inclined in such a manner that a width dimension gradually becomes smaller toward a direction of separation from the surface 11a of the insulating base material 11, and then overhang outside in the width direction and are inclined again in such a manner that the width dimension gradually becomes smaller toward a direction of separation from the insulating base material. |
