PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject transmission structure so as to afford a compact planting section as a whole. SOLUTION: This planting section transmission structure is so designed that, a longitudinal feed cam shaft provided with a longitudinal feed cam actuating engagedly on an operating member subjecting a longitudinal feed device to longitudinal feed drive every time a seedling stand is situated on left/right movement ends is set up in such a mode that the longitudinal feed cam part is situated off the lateral one side of a planting drive case along its horizontal direction, and one end of the longitudinal feed cam shaft is interlockingly linked to the driving mechanism inside the planting drive case, and the extended end of the longitudinal feed cam shaft on either front or lateral side is situated near the outer end on one side of a planting range in the horizontal direction.
