The clamp has a retainer of the main contact element for the screw connector. The screw connector is exchangeable by a module (6), in which is fitted a spring clamp (7). The module can be secured in a retention shaft (5) of the connector clamp (1b). Preferably the spring clamp is of enclosed pull spring type. The module has an open assembly side (8), from which the spring clamp may be inserted. The module also has lock lugs (9) insertable into retaining holes (10) in the side walls (11) of the retention shaft.
