PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce data quantity to be transmitted from a terminal on a network to a user terminal in an image composition system constituted of a user terminal having a photographic function and a display function and a terminal on a network having an image recognizing function and an image composition function. SOLUTION: Virtual object image data obtained by a composition generating part 124 or a composition storing part 125 are plotted to be superimposed on photographic image data transmitted from a terminal 110, so that image composition can be carried out, and difference image data and offset numerical value data showing coordinates indicating which position the difference image data should be arranged for the photographic image data are generated by a composition processing part 127 with a difference information generating function. When receiving the difference image data and the offset numerical data from the terminal 120, the photographic image data are read from an image processing part 115, and the difference image data are plotted so as to be superimposed on the positions of the coordinates shown by the offset numerical value data by using the photographic image data as a design so that the composition result image data can be generated by a difference information composition processing part 116.
