A short circuit protection circuit (100), comprising: a detection unit (130) and a first control unit (140) connected thereto, upon detecting that an output voltage of a power supply chip (110) is smaller or equal to a first threshold, stopping, by a detection unit, a first switch (Q1) that the detection unit comprises; when the output voltage of the output end of the first switch increases, an input voltage of a conductive input end of a second switch (Q2) that a first controlling unit comprises also increases so as to conduct the second switch; if the output voltage of the output end of the second switch decreases, then the voltage of a first pin (1)inputting the power supply chip decreases, so as to make the power supply to stop supplying power to the circuit of the load (120), realizing a short circuit protection of the power supply chip load circuit, thus eliminating security hazard. |
