The noise protection wall has chambers (7) which are filled with sound-absorbing material. The chambers on one side have a holed plate (4) from the floor up to full wall height and are filled with moss rubber particles. Wall units (1) are available, in which a holed plate (4) and an opposing plate (5) are joined by webs, whereby the chambers (7) are between two webs and the two plates (4,5). The plates are the webs are zinc-plated and powder-coated. The chambers (7) are closed by a ceiling profile (8) and a floor profile (9). The moss rubber particles measure between 1 and 30 mm and the holed plate (4) has a holed portion of 40 to 80%. USE/ADVANTAGE - A noise protection wall which provides a very good sound absorption with a relatively thin wall of cheap material.
