PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a set shield machine in a simple structure, not requiring carry-in work for a rear body when a subsidiary shield machine is ready to start. SOLUTION: A set shield machine comprising a combination of a large- diameter master shield machine 1 and a small-diameter subsidiary shield machine 30 stored in the master shield machine includes a front body 31 of the subsidiary shield machine 30 stored in the master shield machine 1 and outer shells 33 split in numbers to be a rear body of the subsidiary shield machine 30 by joining to the rear end of the front body 31 of the subsidiary shield machine 30, the plurality of outer shells 33 being installed in a gap between the master shield machine 1 and the front body 31 of the subsidiary shield machine 30 in a pull- out possible state.
